Aloha Oneness Ohana,

Happy Spring! A time of new beginnings. My 88 year old monther changed addresses as we say in Hawaiian on the last official day of winter. She passed 10 days after having a stroke. My sister and I cared for her around the clock at her home for the last 7 of those days. I did lots of ARCH and IO on her from her feet up (instead of the usual head down) to help her cross over. In the end she left very peacefully with my sister and I on either side of her. We were playing the Hemi-sync tape to help someone go HOME at the time. Somehow it came on really loud (although we had not turned it up). When Bob Monroes voice on the tape said to go to focus 15 where there is no time and space and where physical becomes spirit, she finished her last breath and her pulse stopped.

We had a wonderful memorial for her on March 22nd. I chanted the Hookahi (Oneness) chant, and told funny, poignant stories and my sister sang beautiful songs. It was a great final send off for her. She will be missed.

I am so grateful that my mother left her affairs in the most organized manner that I could have hoped for. Still it has took us 100s of hours to deal with all of it. Those of you show have had a parent or loved one pass, know what I am talking about.

The best gift you can give your family after you pass isnt money, it is taking care of your own clutter and organizing your own affairs before you go so your loved ones can use that time to make peace with your passing.

As things stand right now, the ARCH apprenticeship program I had scheduled for the last half of the year has only 8 interested people, and within those 8, most just need to take the teaching certification course. Unless there are more people interested the apprenticeship program, I will not be able to offer it - so my question for you is: Are there any classes you would be interested in having me teach and in what areas (other than IO in the Boston area). Also, it looks my children will be staying an extra school year in San Diego, so are there any classes in tSan Diego that people would like to see happen. Please send your suggestions via email to the office. I appreciate your feedback.

After my mother had her stroke, I felt her presence around me but I couldnt understand what she was saying. So, I said out loud, I cant hear what you are saying to me mom. Then I felt like she screamed in my left ear, I LOVE YOU!

Meditation of the mahina (month):

1. Go into a meditative state.
2. Imagine yourself at the end of your life. As things stand right now, will you have learned your lessons? Accomplished your purpose? Used up all of your gifts? How have you left things for your loved ones to deal with on body, mind, spirit and emotional levels? Do you have a living will or something that makes it clear as to what your wishes are? Did you make a will or trust? Do you have all your papers related to your passing collected in one place? Have you discussed it with your heirs? Have you appointed an executor? Do they know what they are suppose to do? Does you family know what your spiritual beliefs are and what kind of memorial/funeral you would like to have? Have you told them if you want to be cremated or buried? Have you forgiven and made peace with the significant people in your life? Did you tell them everything? Do you know they love you?
3. Make a commitment to yourself to leave things better than you envisioned them.
4. Come out of meditation.
5. Follow through with your commitment.

I know that these things arent easy to discuss with your loved ones, but it will be much harder for them to deal with after you are gone. For those of you who have already done this, I applaud you. For those of you who have not, there is no time like the present! Your family will thank you for it when you change addresses.
